This is a post chronicling the movies I’ve watched, on DVD, in the theatres, and on television, for the period running from November 23rd to December 23rd. My goal is to watch 50 movies in one month. Here are the rules:
- I cannot have seen the movie in the last year;
- The movie must contain at least one exceptional character actor (the name(s) in parenthesis after the movie’s title);
- Any genre or time period is allowed;
- I must watch the movie the whole way through before turning on the commentary or watching special features.
Here we go! (All movies that I am watching for a second, third, etc. time are marked with an *asterisk.) If you have any suggestions, just send me an e-mail by clicking here.
UPDATE: Well, it looks like I won’t reach my goal. It’s December 22nd, and I’ve only watched 20 movies. I blame the lightheadedness from my new prescription that lasted until last week. However, I’ll keep posting movies as I watch ‘em right here. Enjoy!

This is an impressive undertaking. Perhaps if you can watch 50 movies this month, I can make it my goal to watch FIVE. Since I have no TV, this should be less of a challenge (I have a set, I mean, just no service).
Put Strangers With Candy on your lineup. Not the TV show, the movie. And if you’ve seen it, you should see it again. Amy Sedaris & Stephen Colbert. Can’t go wrong.
